Welcome to Boater Assist Canada!
Boater Assist Canada is a member based organization for the recreational boater in Ontario. Owned and Operated by Boating Ontario, with service centres in every major boating area in Ontario, highly trained, and ready to serve you. As a member, should you ever need assistance, Help is Only a 1-800 Call Away.
Our call centre is open from May 15th to October 31st. The call centre was developed by the same team that put the OPP 911 call system into Ontario and designed to allow for fast, effective dispatch of help when you need it most. With the recent addition of our GPS Smartphone App our call centre can see your longitude and latitude real time to further assist with coordinating the response.
Towing Service:
Choose your Membership level, Basic or Family and Towing is included! Our highly trained team will coordinate the response and tow your vessel safely to the closest port.
Call Centre:
Call toll-free, seven days a week from May 15th to October 31st for towing assistance during daylight hours.
Fuel Delivery and 40 litres of fuel is covered within your Membership.*
Jump Starts:
Battery Assistance/Power loss/Jump Starts are included within your Membership.
Ungroundings:
Soft ungroundings are included within your membership. Salvage ungroundings are provided for by a Marine Insurance Yacht Policy.
Large Fleet:
Boater Assist Service Centres are independently captained, trained, insured and strategically located across Ontario to cover almost every major Boating Area in the Province. Please refer to our Service Coverage section for an up to date listing as we are growing quickly.
Professionals:
All Boater Assist Service Centres have complete insurance coverage, licenses and meet or exceed transport Canada's MED A3. All standards and practices are reviewed on an annual basis.
